Two full hours of holiday swing tunes. My goal was to play songs you’re not already tired of hearing that might get you dancing up a winter storm. A quick set of Christmas tunes to get you in the mood – both for the season and for next week’s full two-hour Christmas extravaganza – and then some great jazz, blues, and swing to fill out the show.
December 5, 2018: Odetta Holmes
We kick off the set with some fabulous Odetta LPs from the Evergreen Library collection, and then jump into two hours of great music with a slightly more rock-y vibe than usual, featuring tracks from Stereo Donkey, Postdata, Wintersleep, Little Hurricane, and more, as well as the usual mix of jazz, swing, and blues.
